Students asked the question, “What’s in your sunscreen?” They studied chemical compounds found in sunscreen & constructed 3D models. Students researched the impact of toxins on coral reef & discovered legislation in Hawaii banning certain ingredients. A partnership emerged with LightSUP Hawaii and students created brochures to inform travelers worldwide.
