Your 2017 Follett Challenge Winner

Congratulations to Chase County Elementary School in Strong City, Kansas for winning the Grand Prize in the sixth annual Follett Challenge for their program Learning with Cattle. Students learn valuable science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) lessons and 21st-century skills through projects involving the community, local businesses and the cattle industry. Fifth-grade students purchase, raise and sell calves to earn a profit, all the while learning by doing with the help of the community, the use of technology, and creative approaches to solving problems. This title earns them $60,000 in Follett products and services plus a celebration at their school.
